Declaration of Consent

I hereby give Anodyne Care ApS (hereinafter “Anodyne Care”) permission to collect, store, and process my personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This includes, but is not limited to, health information, contact details, and other relevant personal information necessary for my treatment and care. It specifically also includes video and audio recordings of consultations, and the anonymised use of data in connection with AI-driven analysis for the purpose of optimising my treatment.

Lawful Basis for Processing

The processing of your personal data, including special category health data, is carried out on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a) of the UK GDPR. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time (see below).

Purposes of Processing

Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

  1. To provide you with medical treatment and care.
  2. To administer and coordinate your health and care services.
  3. To communicate with other healthcare professionals and service providers involved in your care.
  4. To carry out anonymised AI-assisted analysis to support and improve clinical decision-making in relation to your treatment.

Sharing of Information

I also consent to Anodyne Care sharing my personal data with other healthcare professionals and service providers involved in my treatment, where this is necessary to ensure that I receive the best possible care. Any such sharing will be carried out in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and only to the extent necessary for the purpose.

International Transfers of Data

As Anodyne Care ApS is headquartered in Denmark (European Union), any transfer of your personal data between the United Kingdom and Denmark is subject to the UK’s adequacy decision for EU/EEA countries. Your data is protected to a standard equivalent to UK GDPR when transferred to and processed within the EU.

Right to Withdraw Consent

I understand that I have the right to withdraw my consent at any time by contacting Anodyne Care in writing (see contact details below). I acknowledge that withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of Access: to request a copy of the personal data held about you.
  • Right to Rectification: to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: to request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligations requiring its retention.
  • Right to Restriction of Processing: to request that we limit the way in which your data is used.
  • Right to Data Portability: to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object: to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
