Torben has extensive experience in research, clinical, and humanitarian relief work, having operated in war zones across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Afterward, he shifted his focus to clinical research in hospital and clinic settings, with a particular interest in epidemiology. For 15 years, he worked as a Senior Consultant in Palliative Medicine, where pain management was a crucial responsibility. He also has clinical experience with medical cannabis treatment from his work at various pain clinics in Denmark since 2019. Additionally, Torben served as the Medical Advisor for Clinical Studies and Education at the pharmaceutical company Stenocare. Currently, he is part-time engaged in the clinical setting of the Team for ADHD and Autism at the Psychiatric Center, Glostrup Hospital.
