She has developed scientific materials and executed educational activities for healthcare professionals in Denmark and internationally, drawing on more than a decade of experience within the pharmaceutical and medical cannabis industry, where she specializes in education, regulatory affairs, and patient-centered care. Helena is also the author of the book “Potentialet af Cannabis,” which summarizes the current knowledge and therapeutic potential of medical cannabis. Her previous roles include Medical Advisor and Project Manager at Canify Clinics Denmark—overseeing regulatory activities, scientific development, and telehealth platform operations—and Medical Affairs Manager at Valcon Medical A/S, where she advised on market developments and engaged in scientific collaborations within the industry. Currently operating as an independent advisor, she works with policymakers to improve access and understanding of medical cannabis.
