Benjamin Lundström is a lawyer and partner at SIRIUS Advokater and has a wide academic background with a civil law master’s degree from the University of Copenhagen/University of British Columbia (1997) and a common law master’s degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia (2000).

Benjamin has served as a High Court judge (kst) at the Eastern High Court (2016) and has extensive experience from commercial board positions and organizational roles, such as chairman of the Danish Mediation Lawyers and member of the council of The Association of Danish Law Firms.

Benjamin grew up in a family of doctors and has, throughout his long legal career, worked with people and businesses within the healthcare sector. He has been involved in building several companies and charitable organizations in the field. For 13 years, he was chairman of Danske Hospitalsklovne (Danish Hospital Clowns), which aims to ease the hardship of hospitalized children through smiles and laughter. As chairman of the board, he led the professionalization and development of the organization into a sustainable and reputable charity based on the highest ethical standards.

Benjamin has been appointed as a permanent mediator by the General Practitioners’ Organization (PLO) and the Association of Medical Specialists (FAS) under the Danish Medical Association (DADL). He is also employed by the courts as a court-appointed mediator and teaches the subject at the University of Copenhagen where he has been a lecturer for more than 20 years.
